The Commission is comprised of at least seven members, each appointed for a renewable five-year term, along with the Presidents of the Association Monégasque des Activités Financières (AMAF, Monegasque Financial Activities Association) and the Ordre des Experts-Comptables de Monaco (OECM, Order of Certified Accounts of Monaco).
A law officer of the judiciary and a Government Commissioner attend meetings, but do not have a vote.
Since 2019, the CCAF has been chaired by Gérard RAMEIX, who was previously President of the French stock market regulator, the Autorité des Marchés Financiers.
