Obligations to investors

The primary source of information for investors is the simplified prospectus, which must be made available to them free of charge prior to subscription.

Subsequently, the founders of funds have a regulatory obligation to provide investors with various sources of information during the investment period.

First of all, investors are made aware of any changes made to the fund throughout the course of its existence. The format in which this information is provided, and the means by which it is sent, depend on the impact on investors and the category of fund concerned. It may range from a simple statement in the annual report, to a letter sent in advance to each investor.

The net asset value of each fund open to all investors is displayed at the premises of the management company and the custodian. It is also published in the Journal de Monaco where applicable.

Finally, investors are able to obtain annual and periodic reports prepared by the management company and certified by the auditors.
