New Application for authorisation to carry out a financial activity

Download the new application file of December 2023 to be filed with the Commission in order to carry out a financial activity in the Principality. After meeting the General Secretariat to present your project, you will need to formally submit the completed application, accompanied by the necessary supporting documents.

Warning concerning “BSI Business Sécurité Investissement"

The Commission de Contrôle des Activités Financières (“CCAF”) has become aware of an entity operating under the name of "BSI Business Sécurité Investissement" (“the Entity”) which has an internet presence at www.businesssecuriteinvestissement.com. The Entity claims to be offering “wealth management” in Monaco. The CCAF wishes to alert the public that "Business Sécurité Investissement" is NEITHER a Monacan registered Company NOR licensed by the CCAF to provide any financial services which are required to be licensed under Monaco law. The Entity is not authorised to offer its services/ products to private customers in the Principality of Monaco. The CCAF would like to remind consumers of financial services not to enter into any financial services transaction unless they have ascertained that the entity with whom the transaction is being made is authorised to provide such services by the CCAF. The Entity claims to be offering “international private banking, offshore banking, international wealth management, formation of offshore companies and opening private and corporate bank accounts” in various jurisdictions including Monaco. The CCAF wishes to alert the public that Royal Investment Consortium is NEITHER a Monacan registered Company NOR licensed by the CCAF to provide any financial services which are required to be licensed under Monaco law. The Entity is not authorised to offer its services/ products to private customers in the Principality of Monaco. Investor education is a key part of the Commission’s role of protecting and informing investors, by promoting a better understanding of financial products, services, and concepts. The Commission’s new website now contains a section dedicated to investor education.

Marketing of financial products in the Principality

With some exceptions, financial products and services are marketed in Monaco exclusively by firms with authorisation to operate in the country’s financial sector, under their own liability.
